Gala Dinner at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Opened in 1901 and housing 22 galleries filled with world class fine art, stunning design pieces and artefacts from around the globe, the magnificent Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum will host us for the IS-Glasgow 2019 Gala Dinner on the evening of Thursday 27th June.

Situated in Glasgow's park-filled West End, our delegates will enjoy a three course dinner, followed by a traditional Scottish Ceilidh (participation is encouraged, although not compulsory!).

The main event will take place in the Main Hall (left), and IS-Glasgow 2019 delegates will have the freedom to explore the public galleries throughout the evening.

Coaches will collect and return delegates from the main symposium venue in the City Centre, but the Kelvingrove is also well connected for public transport should you wish to travel to/from the event yourself.

We are delighted that our Ceilidh band will be The Occasionals, a highly talented group of experienced musicians, who will give a wonderful flavour of this Scottish tradition to all.
